Lovely quiet room with a nice soft bed.

GREAT, everything was nice, good location, very friendly & helpful staff.
Bummer, bummer, bummer.
First there was the inadequate reaction to the high room temperature. Tell people to wait and then there will be a solution and not telling them more is inadequate.
Next the restaurant appeared not to accept new guests from 21:00 (we entered 3 minutes too late). No advice on the possibility of room service or tip for another place to go, just again an uninterestedly spoken 'desolée'.
Further the payment for the garage and tourist tax had been deducted twice from our bank account. The guy from reception desk told us we had to settle this with our bank.
Several options were proposed by us: checking with finance, trying to solve it via his manager, offering a service/ product for the same value; anything to organise a refund for the small amount was not taken into consideration.
At this moment we just found out via our bank account that the amount has been refunded. It would have worked out much less negative if we'd had this promiss right away on check out.
All these examples of that way of solving a problem is really not acceptable. Staff should be better aware of hospitability. Please invest in training and in good care for personnel. Let them experience true hospitability so that they know how to pass it on to your guests.

Excellent stay and particularity loved the really easy (and cheap) tram connections into the centre of Strasbourg. Good shopping centre close by and really great access to our concert visit to Strasbourg Zenith
